
Kaminando (trekking) again…
After our successful Galapagos trip (check our blog “Reversing extinction”), our next stop was Panama. Panama has quickly become Kaminando’s headquarters for our research activities. This time, we visit our land in the far east corner of the Mamoní Valley Preserve… 11.500 hectares of pasture, secondary and primary forest that serves as a buffer area to the Mesoamerican Biological Corridor on the Caribbean side.
